Tree stand for a 7-8ft nordman fir

My tree is bigger than expected and the Klinner stand won't hold it. I can't drill a holding strap to anything. I think it's the biggest tree I've ever had!

Mine is only 6ft but i use one of these - the larger base helps

*Krinner. I have the Comfort version that takes trees up to 2.3m tall. Pretty sure last years that was much shorter than that fell over 🙈

We have one like this, bought at the local garden centre. Currently have an 8ft tree in it without issues!

I think it might be ok if I trim the trunk down (it's got quite a long trunk before the branches begin) and take the usual bit off the top because otherwise the star won't slot on and I should get it down to the maximum 230cm.
