Presents for 4/5 year old boy

Any ideas please 🙏🏻 his DS 6 is so easy to buy for but I find boys presents a lot harder. He loves games so have got him some board games I know he'll love and little bits and pieces but need a few more ideas please

Some great Lego sets for 4yos now, the instructions and assembly are simplified for them.

Also mine were all big into superhero play at that stage to play figures or dressing up from current favourites heros were hits.

Also an age two of mine keen on crafty type stuff, pen grip that much better so they enjoyed drawing books and colour pens

Magnetic tiles - they seem to go down well and get lots of use

Dc4 is 5 1/2 and he’s getting a Lego City police station which he will need some help to build, a remote control car, Hot Wheels cars, gel pens, note pad & coloring book and a few books, also a new scooter as he old one broke last week. He’s greeting a new farm barn to share with his brother too. His stocking will have Top trumps spiders, a toy tarantula, a wallet, sweets, insect projector torch, I-spy car book, & little novelty pens, pencils, erasers & dinosaur stickers & mini lego city poly bag.

My ds is getting

• a Lightning McQueen remote control car I bought in a sale (yay)
• his own cute carry-on luggage (he is obsessed with playing pretend holidays and it will be useful for sleepovers etc)
• warm slipper socks
• cycling gloves for cold days
• books of mazes and puzzles
• easy reading books
• small tin of watercolour paints and brushes
• Legos

Dress up stuff?.. got mine star wars and batman costumes which I know he will love and well as obligatory lightsaber

My son will be turning 5 on Xmas eve.
For his birthday he is getting: magnetic tiles road building set, his favourite train from Thomas the tank engine and three star wars dress up outfits
For Xmas he is getting: 3 cars from Disney cars, a giant floor puzzle, a board game and Sylvanian families

As a joint present between his siblings he will get an indoor den kit and craft supplies

If your son is into insects (mine too) there's a game called Bugs in the kitchen (got one of the Hex bugs that moves around) that looks good. Or an insects in amber dig kit. Hexbugs also have a moving tarantula that looks cool. There's a lovely book called Bug Atlas by Lonely planet too. And the ant terrariums look cool.

DS is 4. Some big hits so far have been;

Nerf gun and target set

I'm regretting it already!! 😝

Marble run! I recommend a plastic one. Not as pretty as a wooden one, but less frustrating for younger ones.
