Presents for extended family

My family lives all over the country. We all get on really well but don't see each other that often coz of geography etc. Maybe about twice a year the whole clan gather. The youngest members of the family are now all over 18 with several of the older ones living fully independently now they've finished uni.

My question is at what point do we stop buying presents for them now they are over 18? Since they were about 15 I've generally given them money or vouchers but now they are adults should this continue? I know they'd like to get some cash or vouchers (who wouldn't?) but surely at some point this stops? I seem to remember my aunt stopped when I was about 20 and left home.
