My secret Santa is a male who is 40. That's all I know.
Budget is £10.

Please can anyone share ideas what I could go for?

Gift set from Boots, they've got a lot of male grooming stuff

I have my 36 year old male colleague for mine.

He’s getting a Tamogotchi, some jelly beans and some gingerbread man socks.

Few craft beers

small box of nice chocolates or local coffee chain card both of which he could easily regift if he does not like

Ask the organiser to email him asking for ideas (without saying it's from you).

I run our office secret Santa and I do this all the time for people. I am hanging up my elf hat after this year though 😃

I always go for a father Christmas toilet seat cover.

That is until the company I now work for revealed they use Elfster which means everyone is expected to create a wish list and you buy an item for the person off that.

I mean wtaf? Where's the fun in that?

You can get intro offers to new beer companies for under £10 where you get a crate for the price of delivery. There's quite a few but eg planetoffers.co.uk/beer52-freecase#:~:text=Get%20a%20free%20case%20of,pause%20or%20cancel%20any%20time.

A cinema voucher? £10 would do 2 x standard vue seats here.

There are fun work notebooks you can get "notes from meetings that could have been an email" or "employees im thinking about firing".

A rechargeable electric lighter went down well with men in my family - men like starting fires! That's only £5.

And if there's a coffee shop near work a voucher always goes down well too

Or How about a niche (so he doesn't have it) but good simple game - 6 nimmt is fun. Or taskmaster the card game, with some chocolates!

A jaw harp.

Ggmores · 05/12/2024 20:29

I’m that age and I would like decent chocolates, nice bottle of wine, small terrarium type thing, something that I could regift if it wasn’t to my taste. Don’t buy novelty crap that just gets chucked or given to a charity shop that will sit there for years.

750g Toblerone from Amazon £10.75
