Ideas for small gifts for people you're meeting up with whilst they are travelling

Just that really. We are (flying) to meet up with them somewhere briefly while they are at the start of a big trip so I'm after small ideas that wont be a burden on the holiday. This is for a couple in their early to mid fifties (not an "old" 50, both quite stylish).
I was thinking maybe a mini travel jewellery case for her but not sure what for him. Ideas for both would be gratefully accepted.

Bottle of wine. They can just drink it.

Consumables. I wouldn't want anything else.

Ah that's a hard one. What would you suggest?

Snacks. Wine, as suggested above - though depending on the trip they might be lugging it round for a while before they get a chance to drink it.

Depends on how they travel and how they pack. My kit is carefully thought out and fairly minimal, so I wouldn't want anything extra to add to it for the duration of the trip.

This time of year , how about small Xmas ornaments that are from your town or have something English about them.
