Do they shave?

pepsimac · 02/12/2024 23:33

Well obviously not he's 13 but you know what I meant an eau de toilette / eau de Parfum no need for sarky comments when I was asking for advice because I'm sure other peoples teens are into smellies aswell

I knew exactly what you meant op, I'm looking for inspiration too for youngest dd's boyfriend. All the ones I would have suggested like savauge or million have all been worn by her brother at some point so we're a bit lost.

Any fragrance by Paco Rabanne would be popular - phantom, invictus, 1 million.

Or jean Paul Gautier Elixir is the must have for teen boys this year, so my 14yro tells.me.

At that age, Boss, Jean Paul Gaultier, Joop, David Beckham... That's all I can remember from mine and their friends. Was very surprised when Joop turned up as a gift from his friend 🤣 My son is 15 so don't think they're too far out of fashion! Oh, Carolina Herrera Bad boy too.

I've just bought Gucci Guilty for my nephew and I absolutely love it, he better aswell as I bought the shower gel of it too 🤣

If he likes football, my 14 year old loves the CR7 aftershaves (Ronaldo).

Lynx obviously!

My advice would be that unless he know exactly which aftershave he likes/wants, go fairly cheap. Aftershaves are so expensive and so personal.

When my DS wanted to start experimenting with aftershaves, I bought him a small bottle of Code Red from Next for £10. It's quite fresh and sporty and he quite liked it. I then got him a Zara dupe (it's meant to be a dupe of Invictus I believe) for about £16 which was a bit spicier and he loves it and wears it every day.

He 16 now and this is the first year he's getting a 'proper' aftershave. He got JPG Le Beau for his birthday last week and he's getting Armani Stronger with you for Christmas. He's tried both in shops and at a friend's house and knows he loves both.

At that age I got DS a selection of samples on eBay as a stocking filler. It allowed him to have a range of scents and find styles he likes.

My sons been asking for Jean Paul Gautier for months, I thought it was a bit old fashioned but he sprayed it in the airport and it was nice so have gone with that. Can't handle the smell of one million.
