Advent Calendars

Do many of you have advent calendars? Or do you not bother?

I have a Tony’s Chocolonely one this year!

@pinkksugarmouse M&S sell the Where's Wally one. The picture was better on last year's calendar though.

I have the M&S beauty one, DH has a beer one and DS has a chocolate orange one. Before I get flamed over DS he's old enough to buy his own but had no money left at the end of Nov so I bought him one.

My DM buys me an advent calendar every year, and I’m 28! I doubt anyone will flame you for that 🙂

I got a Cadbury chocolate one from the supermarket. It’s great it’s kind of like a post so it sits upright instead of the thin, falling down versions of advent calendars where you have to hang them on a hook or something.

I don't usually, as the concept of one chocolate at a time is alien to me. But this year ds got a celebrations one and doesn't like caramel or coconut, so wouldn't eat most of it. I got him a replacement and will be openings once a week to get a decent amount of chocolate. Caramel is still grim, so won't be touching those.

DD1 and 2 bought me the M and S beauty one for my birthday in November (they have done this for a few years now). It’s lovely. And DH bought me the Boots No 7 one. I will use pretty much everything in them.

I bought DH a Toblerone one.

And I bought DD1 a traditional picture one, the Holland and Barrett one (it’s fab) and a Lindor one, DD2 has a picture one, the Holland & Barrett one and a Ferrero Rocher one and DS has a picture one, a Lindt one and Lego Star Wars.

I also bought a celebration’s advent calendar for DD1’s boyfriend, a Pukka tea one for DD2’s uni flatmate and a cat treat one for DCat.

I am not entirely sure how I ended up buying so many! But the contents of them all will be used and they are all very much enjoyed and appreciated.

The supermarkets really overshot on the advent calendar stock didn't they? I remember a few years ago they'd run out now there are huge pikes in my local sainsbury's.
