Hair curler for pre teen

Hi

Can anyone recommend a hair curler for a nearly 12 yr old for Christmas?

I've recently bought a wave barrel, but she'd like curls. Is there anything reasonable quick, low burn risk and not £100s?

Black Friday deal would be great.

Could she be persuaded to do heatless curls?

There are lots of silk wraps and ‘tools’ for that, which would help her not get burnt or damage her hair. I realise (having two DDs) that they are not always easily dissuaded though!

in which case what about one of those heated blow dry brushes? That might be the best option.

And if she’s really set on a hot curling wand, get her two pairs of heat protecting gloves (to double up) and a heat mat to rest it on :-)
