Devastated! Where have the Aldi florentines gone?

So, imagine my despair. Popped on to Aldi to have a look round (aka buy lots of florentines "for Christmas") only to find that they are no more... They have giant ones with bloody raisins in or the 'blonde' version of the original and best in a much smaller box. So all white and very pale milk chocolate. No sign of the original box of gorgeousness where I would reluctantly eat the white ones in desperation!! I don't like white chocolate but could cope with it on a florentine.

I was going to leave empty handed till I spotted chocolate covered pistachio marzipan bars. Probably not in the same league as the original florentines but am taking one for the team and will test it out.

Anyone know where to get such addictive florentines now Aldi have let me down?

I agree that the new blonde is awful and that other disgusting thing is vile. Lidl do them and, in my opinion are much better than the Aldi.

We bought these last year and loved them .
Presently on offer in Waitrose . I may have bought 3 boxes but am thinking now l may get but a couple more just in case 😂

They had them in Cwmbran this morning , oddly they were not with the other Florentines. They were in a different aisle completely. Have a good look when you next go you might find them 🤗

Thomas Fudge do dark choc florentines and Waitrose own are good too. I don't eat florentines but I buy some for DH every year - either Fudges or Waitrose and he says they are delicious.

Fudges ones are the best.

I was in Aldi yesterday and saw quite a few different ones, I agree that the blondie ones look less appealing but they did have other ones.

Lidl do amazing florentines, I prefer these to any others I've tried.
I've just been in an Aldi and they had many varieties of florentine still available. Don't despair, I'm sure they'll restock soon!

Fudges make florentines for Waitrose too and possibly Sainsburys.

That's my advent (and pre advent)!! I buy them as presents then eat them! No others are as good and I have tried them all!!

Ah maybe they've made it into a festive mentioned hunt! I did search other aisles as they've recently had a refit so had to go hunting for basics. I'll try again!

As an update the pistachio chocolate marzipan bar was on a par with the link plain marzipan chocolate bar! I now need to go shopping again for dm! 😂

i bought a box of dark choc ones in Lidl today and they are all gone loads in stock

Ah the thing is that the Aldi ones were the crème de la crème of florentines, M&S, Lidl etc just didn't match.

I was at a Christmas fayre thing today in a posh hotel and everyone was muttering about them being gone!! There were a couple of stalls giving out samples but everyone kept saying they weren't as good as the proper Aldi ones which nobody can bloody find!!
Might have to message them! They still have time to sort this!!!
