Festive weekend away inspiration

Hi all, I want to go away for the night with DH, DD8 and DS6 on Saturday 21st December. Within about a 2ish hour drive from SouthEast London. Anyone got any inspiration for where we could go? Somewhere with something festive to do in the day and a premier inn to sleep.

Last year we went to Warwick Castle/Stratford Upon Avon and it was wonderful.

We have NT and EH passes. Thanks!

Windsor? I recall walking through the main street in Dec for a work event and thought it was very pretty.

Bournemouth and Southampton have Christmas Markets, but no idea what they'd be like

Bath. Although previous thread on here doesn't rate their Christmas Market. Nearby Westonbirt Arboretum if dry.

I have no idea on distance, but last year we went to Winchester and it was absolutely beautiful. The market was fab, there was a Christmas market in the grounds of the Cathedral and there was a fab mix of if independent and high street shops. Definitely recommend!
