The Night before Christmas

There are so many versions of this book which one would you recommend that are special enough to keep for years to come.
Please share your favourites.

The original pop up, although you'll have to hunt it down secondhand. I know the story is old school and not very PC anymore, but I had the pop story read to me as a child and I read it to DS when he was little. He's nearly 17 now but still has the book.

The "original" was published in 1810.....

My favourite is by Tomie Depaulo. New England setting.

We had a pop up version. My sister has it now. I’ve not been able to find it.
