Gift ideas from grandparents for DC

DC is 2 and they've very thoughtfully asked for gift ideas.

I'd love to ask for something useful rather than the usual plastic tat. But I'm drawing a blank.

I would have asked for a winter coat but we've just bought one. I really cannot think of anything and would appreciate ideas!

Magnetiles! Yes they're plastic, but they'll play with them for ages and are a nice creative toy.
