Gift for 5 month old. Which would you go for?

Calling all those with experience with babies and buying for them. Which would you go for?

I'd go for the animal ones - much more interesting and you can talk about the animals. Tho they look like material, assume they are sponge cleanable?

My daughter is 7 months old and we have ones like the plastic ones (assuming they are plastic)? She loves them, she loves knocking them down after I’ve built them up and she loves banging them together to make lots of noise, plus it’s good practice for them putting things together/into each other etc so from my own experience I’d say those ones!

We have both, the sponge ones get played with more

We have the ones on the right and they get easily mis-shapen and so don't stack easily. Definitely would go for the ones on the left!

I'd go for the plastic ones which will keep their shape and will be more washable.
