Please help! If you have a xxs/xs or xs/s, what's the fit like? Going to order one for dd (12), she's pretty tiny about 5ft but not sure which size is best. Heard that WF refunds are complicated so want to get it right. Tia.

Watching with interest. My daughter wants one, is almost 12, tall and slim.

MissMessyPaws · 18/11/2024 09:43

I think they are mostly popular with 10-13 year olds now 😂. They've introduced a 3xs/xxs size but not all hoodies are available in the smallest size.

I bought the xxs/xs for my 12 year old DD. She's 5ft and on the slim side. It's oversized, but that is apparently the way they are supposed to be. Xs/s would have been far too big.

MissMessyPaws · 18/11/2024 10:21

Thank you @GrannyRoberts that's helpful. When you say xxs/xs is oversized, does it look 'right' even though it's oversized? Or like something she still needs time to grow into?

It's a Christmas present so she hasn't tried it on, but just comparing to the other hoodies she wears regularly it's longer and wider and the sleeves are longer! Her friend has the xxs/xs in the offstage range, she's taller than my DD but very slim and it looks fine on her. I noticed that some of the ranges say "oversized" and some don't- the one I have is from one of the "oversized" ranges (with love for you oversized hoodie) but I am also waiting for an xxs/xs from the "offstage" which isn't described as oversized so when I have that I can compare them and report back. Most of the models on the website are wearing s/m and you can see how long the arms are and how big the hoodies look - they are apparently supposed to be massive!

DD is 13, 5ft and very slim. It’s oversized but definitely how her peers are wearing them too. She has this one, any bigger would be oodie territory.

My 10 yo dd has this one too. I got her an xxs and it’s massive, but a nice cozy massive. I tried it on for reference and it kind of fit, but was very much on the small side. I’m 5’3 and wear a 12-14.

MissMessyPaws · 18/11/2024 21:32

It sounds like xxs is the way to go then. I hope it will fit well..

Does anyone have a 3xs/xxs to measure the actual size?

DD is tiny but would love one

The xxs/xs hoodie has arrived, surprisingly quick delivery. My dd also has this H&M hoodie in size 10-12 years and comparing the 2 I'd say the white fox hoodie is a size up so maybe similar to the 12-14 H&M oversized style hoodie. HTH

I would say the offstage hoodie looks quite nice but has a strong chemical smell. It will need a good wash before wearing. Does anyone hand wash their wf hoodie?

@GrannyRoberts Hi! Were you able to notice a difference in fit between the oversize and offstage hoodie in the xxs? Thanks!

GrannyRoberts · 17/01/2025 12:51

@Jsara no they looked exactly the same to me! The XXS/XS in offstage range is what we ended up with. My DD is 12 and wears clothes in 11-12/12-13 age range mostly. It's big on her, but not ridiculous, and oversized is how they all wear them, so it's fine. HTH.

Jsara · 17/01/2025 14:56

@GrannyRoberts great thanks so much for the info!

TonysPony · 17/01/2025 14:59

XXS - I can fit into my DDs quite comfortably, as an adult size 10, it doesn’t have the fashionable oversized look though.

DD is a tall and very slim 12 year old and if looks as intended on her.

My Daughter is 13 and 5ft 5 at least generally a size 8 but quite broad. I bought her S/m for Christmas was too big so returned for xs/s.

Refund was straight forward enough but slow and discounts on items I'd previously bought had ended by the time I got refund. There's a charge to return if you don't have store credit.

Luluco · 17/01/2025 15:45

They’re huge. My daughter is quite tall and size 6 and the XS was massive and I had to return. It’s difficult and expensive to return things with them as well!
