I always watch the snowman, the snowman and the snowdog and father Christmas.....such good memories watching it with my sons when they were little. Now 19 and 16 lol but I'm always up before them on Christmas day

Is it a Christmas special of motherland where they make a mess in Amanda's white bedroom? If so, that's a favourite of mine!

The Home To Roost Christmas special from 1987. With John Thaw and Reece Dinsdale. It was repeated on Thats TV recently. Bloody hilarious

I also love all the Xmas episodes of The Middle but particularly The Xmas Wall where Frankie says sod all this and puts her feet up but then does a U-turn for Mike when he says he only started celebrating when she came along (his Mum died so the "men" didn't decorate). She says "Oh crap!" when he goes to bed then the next morning, it's all Xmassy as she did what I've done on many occasion and pulled an all-nighter. It was sweet as she did it for Mike not the kids iyswim (and yes, they could have decorated or he could have done it but it's pretty damned relatable as episodes go).
