Gifts to send overseas

Looking for inspiration for gifts to send to family overseas. Yes, I've asked them - preempting the question. Hoping to send a few surprises though.

What are you sending to your loved ones who live overseas?

If you live overseas, what do you miss that can be sent from the UK?

It depends where 'overseas' is. I live in the middle east and we have Boots, Waitrose, M&S and a variety of other stores with stock also sold in the UK. There isn't much I can't buy, I'm just not always willing to pay the price for it.

You need to either give country or list of what is not allowed to be sent...

Be careful with value, you can't have a total value of more than €45 per parcel to the EU. You can go up to €150 but then the recipient will pay VAT. We got caught short as it includes shipping costs and my mum had to pay €1.50.

I gave up on sending gifts, I send some mince pies for a laugh to my PIL though. Everything else is ordered online at Amazon Germany and send directly.

We bring UK food when we visit in person.

It's various different countries. Rather than out myself by naming the exact countries my family are spread over I just went for "overseas". I know to check rules, values, etc.
Was just looking for some broad ideas and inspiration of things people might have sent that went down well or that people hoped to receive.
Love the calendar idea thanks @aintnospringchicken

Mince pies a nice idea too but don't they get squashed or go stale?
