Eco/ conservation related gifts for kids

DD9 is neurodivergent & one of her special interests is the environment/ preventing climate change/ living 'green' etc. - she wants to be a climate activist (and/ or a politician) & her teacher is helping her start an eco club at school.

Last year, I bought her a tiny (1m square I think!) bit of the rainforest in Costa Rica - it was cheap (around a tenner), and probably doesn't mean very much in practice (it's not a scam but I guess you're really just donating to the conservation of the whole area) but she got a certificate which she took into school as she was so proud, & she often talks about her little protected patch. It was one of her favourite presents!

I'd like to do/ get something different for her this year, but with the same sort of theme. Not got loads of money to spend on it though - maybe £30 max? Struggling to find very much at this price point - does anyone have any ideas?

Day as a zookeeper. Not sure how much they cost. Some places allow animal feeding/ being there for animal feeding.

Would she like membership of your local Wildlife Trust? It's about £3 a month, you get a nice welcome pack and there are usually lots of local volunteer conservation projects to take part in.

Fahlo you track an animal and get a bracelet and there’s an app so every time your animal (like a hammerhead shark) surfaces it pings. It’s really fascinating
