Greetings and welcome one and all to a friendly and joyful corner of mn - the Christmas bargain thread. Here, we share Christmas present purchases, ideas, links and discount codes, with the aim to spread the Christmas magic and joy and reduce the financial stress.

It's a very busy thread, so see the tips below for helping everything run smoothly and avoiding repetitions of Cookiegate etc al. It doesn’t say it’s excluded, it’s just a jumper so not a specific brand of shoe or something but who knows!

Prai have 31% off with code HAPPYBIRTHDAYCATHY (automatically applied at checkout). I found these lovely jewel decorated jars of the throat and decolletage cream already reduced to £40 and the 31% off makes it £27.60. There are several different types of jar.

I went away for the weekend and missed most of a thread, purchased many non bargain thread friendly gifts at a farmers market and came home to find Evri had left a package with my neighbour but they didn’t say which number so found it on my third knock 🫣.

I think people probably know this already but if you’re buying Christmas cards, wrapping paper, candles etc from M&S, it’s worth checking to see if you have a local M&S outlet as they always have the exact same current stock available at cheaper prices.
that’s where I go every year now for my frankincense & myrrh candle fix. Prices can be 25% cheaper.

I seem to remember some talk on here about M&S ones, i've seen in Asda today that they are selling light up led candles for £7.
