What on earth can I get for her??

I have a 25 year old niece and I’m totally stumped about what to buy for her for Christmas!
My budget is £30-40 and I’m very fond of her. I don’t want to give her money and she loses vouchers (a bit dippy).
She is a vegan, loves hippie clothes and doc martens boots, reads a lot, loves rings, plays music and sings semi professionally, loves witchcraft, moons, pumpkins/autumn.

But I can’t think what to give her! 🙈
Any suggestions?

A selection of books.

Ones that mean a lot to you, ones you think she'd like, ones that will give her a challenge (outside of her normal reading zone) etc.

My niece who is vegetarian and is similar game me some beeswax wraps for Christmas, the kind to wrap leftovers in, as well as a reusable bowl cover. My slightly alternative aunt used to buy me beautiful ceramics like jugs and bowls. Not coordinated with anything but I still have them and love them. Anything crafted.

She sounds lovely

a special bracelet (chunky type)
new ring (adjustable)
nice coat or cardigan

lolablink · 03/11/2024 15:06

Have you looked on Disturbia? They have lots of nice things including jewellery within your budget

Sunbeds · 03/11/2024 15:06

I love those ideas!
I don’t know if she would like ceramics…although, now you say that, she did mention a creuset tea set. But I don’t know what that is! Must have the wrong spelling

A journal or scrapbook.

Candles.

I'm a 53yr old version of her and would love either of these.

Tattletail · 03/11/2024 15:07

Free people is a website that screams out "hippie"
Have a look on there.

dinmin · 03/11/2024 15:09

Beeswax isn’t vegan

i assume she means Le Creuset!

Sunbeds · 03/11/2024 15:11

Brill. I’m off to look at all this!

I'd get her vouchers. She needs to learn not to be "Dippy"

Sunbeds · 03/11/2024 15:18

@purplebeansprouts totally agree but it keeps happening!
@OldTinHat you sound amazing! She’s going to Salem next autumn. It would be great if I could find a witchie scrapbook or journal!

I would’ve liked to send her to see The Crucible at the theatre but it’s finished its run.

A set of crystals and book to show her what to do with them?

Understairscupboard · 03/11/2024 15:44

A tarot card reading.

Sunbeds · 03/11/2024 16:00

A tarot card reading! Wow, I reckon she would love that!!

How about a Himalayan salt lamp? Or a book on crystals?

I got my dsd a salt lamp - first thing she did is lick it haha. They look nice though

Singleandproud · 03/11/2024 16:53

You can watch the Crucible on National Theatre at Home.

I would vote for something frome Disturbia, they have jewellery, accessories and homewares in your budget and possibly some clothes in the sale

Etsy is your friend for witchy notebooks.

@IBlameTheDog I had never heard of salt lamps! Aren’t they beautiful?! It may become my go to gift for everyone this Christmas. Beautiful, hygge and healthy. £20 each seems like a bargain. Thank you xx

Sunbeds · 03/11/2024 18:50

They’re very cosy-looking and supposed to be healthy too, aren’t they? It’s a definite, I think.
i loved the tarot card idea but it seems that she has some already
