Would you order this or is it too risky to be here in time for Xmas?

Seen a toy my DS would LOVE but it's not available in the UK yet. Smyths have pre orders for it now and it's expected in stock between 1-10th of December. Would you order this or is it too risky for Xmas as it's not guaranteed when it will be ready?

Yes I would pre-order.

Is it a big gift? Could you have a back up option if it doesn’t arrive in time?

Chillisintheair · 21/10/2024 12:10

Surely if it’s doesn’t arrive in time you can buy something else and return the Smyths gifts.

@Allofthelightsss it's not a gift I'd give to him outside of Christmas and birthday's, it's a £40 toy.

I would order it. Smyths are normally very good. It still gives you plenty of time if they cancel.

That delivery window is the earliest I'd even start thinking about Christmas. Doesn't sound in the least bit risky to me.

I think I'll order it, they don't charge until a few days before anyway so I can cancel it if it doesn't get dispatched before I need it Smile
