Lanka Kade Advent calendar

Hello all
I saw Lanka Kade figures mentioned on another thread as good toys for toddlers. I had never heard of them so just googled them and they look lovely. Do toddlers like them?
My daughter is nearly 2. I was thinking of getting 24 figures and making an advent calendar we can reuse every year. It looks like they do maybe 15 Xmas figures then I could double up on reindeer and elves and add a few other figures in such as the train etc
Do you think she'd like it? And how long would the appeal last?
Also how big are the figures? Are they a choking hazard?
Thanks all

The figures are quite big, my 8 month old was plying with them today, and no concerns about choking etc. but to be honest I’d say they are quite young, my 3 year old played with his till about 2.5 but isn’t really bothered by them at all now.

Thanks for this. so maybe its not what I wanted. I was hoping it would last for a 5+ years as an advent calendar

That sounds like a lovely idea for this year, but would you really want to take the characters away?

My brother's family had a reusable advent calendar with pockets that changed as the children grew.

Never considered that she'd be upset if I took them away until next Xmas...you can tell parenting is new to me!

We have a Lanka Kade Noah's Ark, my little one played with it from very young and the pieces are big enough not to present a choking hazard.

The toys are beautiful and very robust.

I love the Lanka kade figures, they are very cute. We got lots for first birthday and Christmas. If you're looking for something that might hold interest a bit longer I would recommend schleich animals as they're more versatile - can be used in water, sand etc.

We had a few Lanke Kade animals and dinosaurs, my DC played with them until they were about 4.

If you like wooden toys that will be longer lasting then look at the brand 'Grapat'. They are more expensive and don't have characters painted on them, but they're more versatile for play and my DC who are 9 and 6 still use them.

We have the Lanka Kade nativity building blocks and some of the Christmas figures. They go into our reusable advent calendar and we build the nativity leading up to Christmas. My children are 10 and 6 and it's one of our Christmas traditions. We've had the blocks since the oldest was 2.
