Beauty advent calender

It’s my birthday middle of November and DH is asking for ideas.
ive no idea what I actually want but thought a beauty advent calender might be nice, I’ve never had one before.
There is so much choice, any recommendations or any that are particularly good value?
i don’t have sensitive skin or allergies am nearly 50 and stuck in a make up rut.

There's a beauty advent calendar thread over on style and beauty so you'd probably be best heading over there for a good read. The best way to choose is to have a look at the contents and see what suits you best. I've gone for Look Fantastic this year as I think it's really good value, has a good mix of skincare and make up and I know either I or teen dd will use everything. The GH website gives the contents of some of the more popular ones here
