Am wondering what other people are getting their 4-5 year old girls? Love to hear others ideas!

Am trying to get ahead by shopping on Prime Day! I'm having some health issues atm so getting out to the shops isn't as easy as usual if I'm having a bad day. The only answer she will give me for what she wants so far is a teddy bear and we have a house full of them....

DD's birthday is just after Christmas so it's always a tough one - we don't go massively overboard as the onslaught of stuff from family and friends is always a lot too, but want her to have some things to open. I'm asking family to hold back on 'stuff' and buy attraction tickets this year! Budget flexible on both but last year I suppose we spent about £300 on Christmas and about £120 on her birthday.

Ideas so far:

Stocking:
Hair accessories
Yoto cards (probably one of the Disney packs)
Orange in the toe
Chocolate coins
Bubble bath
Reuseable sticker books

Main presents:
Science set (rainbow set by Galt)
Books (usually get 4-5 each for Christmas and her birthday)
Some new clothes (dresses and some sparkly tutu skirts BNWT from Vinted)
Either some clothes or a voucher for clothes for her Build a Bear
Tickets to a show - probably just something local but if I see anything on the West End she would love we'll go. So gutted we missed out on Frozen!

  • Magic set
  • Joke book
  • Notebooks and pens, anything from Squiggle

Have a look at REX london, you have to pay a small flat fee for delivery but I have a far few things in Amazon wish list.

DD is 4 but will be nearly 5 by Xmas.

So far:

European countries jigsaw puzzle
AI Personalised book
Rapunzel Disney doll
Barbie Styling Head

Also planning to get a Waldorf doll and considering a set of Beginner Reader Rainbow Fairies books as she loves having the "proper" versions read to her, but I'm waiting to see how her reading progresses this term.

In the stocking, we've got some craft kits (Aqua beads and sewing) some make-up bits from the Disney Princess range at Boots 3 for 2 gift section, a Taylor Swift book and contemplating a hair bedazzler. There will also be a chocolate orange, fruit and nut mixture and one of those horrible magazines with plastic toys on the front.

In the advent calendar, there's things like gel pens, hair bows, crystals/semi precious stones, stickers, temporary tattoos, bath bombs, crafty bits.

The Christmas Eve box is a retro style nightie (she likes the ones girls wear in story books) a Beanie Boo and The Jolly Christmas Postman, along with reindeer food and hot chocolate.
