So far my 11 year old has got a Pokemon plushie. I usually get him a few boxes of pop tarts. No idea beyond that.

What is he into? Base a main gift around that then some smaller presents?

My 12yo is rollercoaster mad so I brought Merlin tickets, that way she has something that can be used for the whole year and it gets her out the house (and away from the phone) and we get to spend time as a family.

Experience days? High ropes, white water rafting, football stadium tour / football match tickets, escape room kind of thing.

I think experiences are much better as they get to this age, they have so much "stuff" I also give a bit of money, few presents around £20-30 each and a stocking with chocolate, beauty bits, stationary etc.

One of those big reading pillows, with a back and arms. They are large and bulky and he can use it to recline against whilst he plays on his phone (as my son does).

New bedding set/fleecy throw with a theme e.g pokemon, minecraft

My son wants a novelty phone holder (can get them in Smyths etc). A character that holds your phone for you.

Oodie or equivalent with a gaming/phone theme or plain. Bulky to wrap up and practical but also quite fun. My boys love theirs.

Following as we are struggling too.

He will be getting a bike as his main present, a bmx.
Fifa 25 (or whatever it is called now).
Stocking fillers.

That's my list so far. Doesn't help that his 11th birthday is 2 weeks before Christmas- excellent planning.

Clothes two sizes too big.

My son absolutely loved his fleecy football print oodie last winter...put it on as soon as he got home and in the mornings.
Beanbag. Lego Technic.
Decent headphones.

For ideas, my 11yr old son is getting:

Star Wars Legos
an RC tank
a model tank (the little kind you build and paint),
a Darth Vader waffle maker
Crocs and little pack of football Jibbitz,
a squishmallow
2 DK "Through Time" books - one on the Great Wall of China and one on Ancient Civilizations.

He wants a Bellingham jersey...I'm thinking maybe if I can find a reasonable fake otherwise too expensive unfortunately.

I have a 9 yr old and 11 yr old. They have a few football related items - football, hover football game, annuals.
My oldest likes iced latte's so we got him an iced latte maker from Amazon. They also like card games so one has Exploding minions and Taco Goat Cheese Pizza. We already have What do you meme? Herd Mentality, Kids Against Maturity and Cards Against humanity kids edition, all are really good. Lego is always a hit with my youngest.
