Can someone talk to me about these tablets?

Are they any good in comparison to iPads etc? Do they have any limitations re apps or uses?

DC really would be using it for kids games (roblox or similar, and Kitty Town mainly) homework for which they need a school app, and streaming services.

I hate ours. It’s obviously much cheaper than an iPad (which is why we bought it) but it’s constantly pushing content at them, which really bothers me.

The iPad is much better as a ‘static’ home screen where you’re more in charge of what’s on it.

I'd maybe consider a refurbished iPad but like you think they are so expensive

We bought one for DS to use on an upcoming flight. It was so shit, really slow, awful interface. Trying to set it up gave me such a rage I returned it and fortunately amazon didn’t quibble. Definitely get a refurbished ipad instead- that’s what we did and it’s been great.

My DS had one and I agree they’re rubbish, very slow and clunky, not very responsive. We have an iPad now (well, we’ve had it for a few years) and it’s a million times better

Maybe worth avoiding then! Prehaps why they are always on a good sale now I think on it.

They are shit. Get a refurbed iPad.

Uterr shit, and no good at all for things like roblox, it'll just be slow and crash every other second. Get a normal tablet, a bombproof case and set up a load of restrictions/password protect everything (mainly bank cards if you use your Google account)

I find them ‘fine’ for what mine use them for.

it’s safe, I don’t see any unwanted content, they can use Roblox, Minecraft, iPlayer sky go, YouTube (I have removed it, much easier and more reliable than on an apple device).
it’s not sleek or as intuitive as an iPad but it was dirt cheap and the kids Amazon package is a really good addition. You get what you pay for but it’s far from unusable.
