What to get 6yo DD...?

I'm following a couple of threads with ideas for my two older DCs' age groups (although pretty set for their gifts) but struggling for my youngest.

DD2 is 6. She seems to like everything and nothing! She quite artistic and creative, enjoys cooking and baking, loves swimming and water activities, plays a team sport but wouldn't say she loves it, does a bit of gymnastics but again I wouldn't say it's her passion. I don't really want to spend money on equipment if it might end up being a fleeting interest. She loves space but we had a lot of space-themed gifts for her birthday so drawing a blank there!

She's not into dressing up, doesn't really play with dolls, no particular character toys she'd like, she loves cuddly toys but has lots, has Playmobil and Sylvanian Families, not hugely into Lego yet, doesn't need bike or scooter or roller skates.

I have a few small ideas such as chocolate coin maker, magic set, bookeez and squishmallow. But would love some more inspiration and I always find some brilliant ideas on these kind of threads! What are your 6yo asking for?

If she loves cooking and baking, is there a local cookery school that does special classes/experiences for children? Gift an experience rather than things that she doesn’t need.

My six year old has loved this year:
potions kit
light up trainers
walkie talkies
watch
experiments
clay
Internet radio
diary

How about a disco light? Roller skates? Karaoke set? (All 3 are on 5 year old DD's list)

Walkie talkies went down well for her birthday too.

My 6 year old loved her VTEC secret diary that she got for her birthday. This Christmas I have got her a dance mat, slime making kit, gem dig kit, and various other bits. She sounds very similar to your DD in terms of enjoying gymnastics and arts and crafts etc - Baker Ross have got some great craft kits so might be worth looking on there

Some lovely suggestions here, thanks. Unfortunately she does have a lot of this stuff already, such as potions it, science experiments, clay, walkie talkies and roller skates.

We do often do experience gifts too, but I am more after ideas for things she can open and enjoy straight away. Her siblings will have things to open so I would like her to have that too.

A watch could be a good shout so will look into that. Aquallerum Junior I haven't heard of before but looks lovely. Thank you for those suggestions.

@TheOGSloth, the dance mat sounds good fun. Which one have you got?

How about a kids camera?

How about a kids camera?

She has one passed down from big sister. It doesn't get played with really.

Just looked up the Secret Diary. Oh my goodness, she would LOVE that. Definitely going on the list. Thank you!

My 8 year old daughter is similar, she loves arts and crafts, how about getting an art storage trolley and filling it with arts supplies you know she will like and then covering it with wrapping paper on the day.

Spacetalk watch
3D pen
Keyboard
