Stocking fillers for an 11yo nerd

It’s fine- DS describes himself as a nerd.

I’ve got him a Horrible Histories book, will get a Minecraft bath bomb and the marzipan fruits he likes.

What else for a child who loves physics, weapons and gaming?

Mine always get socks
They really like ironic nostalgia presents - mine usually get a blind bag. Bob the Builder blind bags were their favourite ever ( and they were mid teens at the time).
A travel charger
Stick of toblerone
Christmas tree decoration in their theme eg minecraft

This is a good bet. I read it last year and reckon most nerdy 11yo's would be able to follow it, and enjoy it.

I didn’t expect so many good ideas so quickly. Thank you everyone. I’ll probably use some for his birthday too.

I’m sure DH has What If somewhere @VimesandhisCardboardBoots .

How about a fire steel? Piece of metal and a scraper small enough to go in a key chain but can start a fire by creating sparks for tinder.

We had so many toasted marshmallow evenings after they were given their steels - everyone wanted to light a fire in the garden.

Travel chess set? Was one of my favourite gifts around that age. My eldest loves his.
