I'm planning a trip with my husband and toddlers from 27th - 30th December- either Krakow or Edinburgh. Any recommendations for either one.

If it was me I would do Edinburgh with toddlers…..krakow is lovely …..but in winter it’s freezing and you can’t really do the usual stuff of bars and concentration camps visit with littlies….. Edinburgh will not be warm but there’s inside stuff like the museum which has interactive stuff….likely to be a suitable kids show on at one of the many theatres….there’s Edinburgh zoo

I agree with the above I think. I am from Edinburgh. Lots to do but food wise and eating out, you must book. Book and cancel options if you can. The city will be busy.

Thank you for your replies! Would it be better to visit Edinburgh 20th - 23rd December or 27th - 30th December? Any tips on where to stay, visit etc would be greatly appreciated.

The Xmas market would still be open before xmas and the Christmas fair for the kids

Plenty places to stay. Premier Inn was good when we had family staying. It’s on rose street. Pretty much at Marks and Spencer. Depends on your budget. Do you want hotel or air b and b.

You may find places to stay are a bit cheaper before Christmas.
Lots of people go to Edinburgh for hogmany and they often come a couple of days before and prices go up and good places get booked up early.
It's a lovely city (I'm from there but don't live there now unfortunately).
