Christmas afternoon tea - recommendations please

Just that, really. We are in the Midlands but could travel to another city, needs to be accessible by public transport. We used to go to Keele Hall which had a lovely one, but it went a bit rubbish in 2019 and then, events intervened as they will... Keele now doesn't do afternoon tea at all, just a full Christmas lunch which isn't the same.

Where would you recommend, please? TIA. 🌲Star

Never been but The George hotel in Lichfield does festive afternoon teas in December

@Justhereforthechristmasthreads - Thank you. We are actually in Lichfield so I'll certainly consider The George. I appreciate our similar usernames too!

Crewe hall is a definite yes in my book. Especially at Christmas. It can be a bit cool in the room but take an extra jumper and you’d be fine.

i tend to book for me, the two ‘mothers’ and any of their granddaughters that are around. A girls trip out 😊🎅🏼
