Fortnum and Mason Storytelling with FC

Hi
I am thinking of booking some christmas activities before they book up!
Always thinking of something new to do, and have seen the F&M storytelling with Father Christmas. Does anyone have any person experience and would you recommend?

Also have seen the Polar express is coming to London this year. Just wondered if this is also recommended? It's quite expensive so I am unsure whether to book or not.

Something I like very much is the lighting of the Christmas Tree in Trafalgar Square. As the tree is a gift from Norway, the Norwegian ambassador speaks, the choir sings - it's lovely and feels as though Christmas is really here.

Going along Oxford Street/Regent Street on the bus to see the lights is good fun too.
