Best Lapland UK alternatives?

Completely missed the boat this year! Unorganised and didn’t have the cash ready even if I’d got online sooner 😅

Would love to take the littles somewhere amazing this year (peak magical age I think - 4-6) any alternatives?

We’re near Cambridge so can’t travel more than a couple of hours ideally. Thanks!

The polar express at mid Norfolk railway, Dereham, was amazing for our last Santa experience when the boys were 9 and 7. They were old enough to enjoy it, toddlers are too young I'd say, but yours are midway between so might be up your street

Most of the tickets are already sold unfortunately.
It's really good if you are able to get some.

We did enjoy it and weren't aficionados of the movie beforehand. Don't get there early as there's lots of sitting on benches waiting for them to do the pre play~ the kids can go down the front to sit and see anyway. The train was great with well timed snack (allergies catered for) and songs and train conductor interactions were excellent. Definitely recommend if you can get tickets

Polar express was amazing. I took my 15 year old too and he loved it. So magical I wanted to cry but I love the film A LOT

The one from Dereham only had a few odd tickets when I looked.Maybe they have released more :)
