Lapland uk tickets - for sale or advice?

Hi, hoping someone might be able to shed some light!!!
I have 5 tickets for Lapland uk 3rd December this year - 4 adults and 1 child.
We were taking little one with our sister and BIL as a Christmas Day out - well very excitingly both myself and my sister have found out we are pregnant due a week apart!!! 4th Jan and 11th Jan.

we are 2.5 hours from Lapland (each way) and will both be basically 9 months pregnant - not to mention sister is type 1 diabetic so high risk. Neither of us feel it would be safe to travel so far in a day so far along in our pregnancy, nor would we enjoy the experience for what it’s worth!!

lapland are advising tickets are non-refundable / non-transferable and seem to be sticking in their heels - I’ve contemplated escalating and sure we could get doctors notes advising it’s not safe for us to go but just wondered if anyone knows if I can sell the tickets privately as online it says you can change the child’s name up to 24 hours before your visit.

if so, I will have these tickets available at cost price if anyone is keen who may have missed out!!

If you booked non refundable tickets then they are just that non refundable you can't escalate it. That's why they sell cancellation insurance.

Do you have travel insurance? Could claim if a dr will sign that you aren't fit to travel, although at 8 months pregnant you might be deemed technically fit and gp might not be prepared to do it.

Sell on Facebook?

Can you try and move them to an earlier date, right at the beginning of the season?

If not, I’d ask in the LaplandUK Fan Chat group. Unfortunately they have a reputation for totally inflexible customer service, so I very much doubt you’ll get a refund.

I thought they had a system for reselling, I’m sure tickets were released a second time last year/year before. Maybe I’m wrong. I’d try emailing again and hope someone else picks it up. Or trying to move as early as you can. Good luck!

Just heard back and they’ve said if we can resell the tickets our self they will allow us to transfer to another family which is great. I suppose just need to find buyers now 😂😂 fingers crossed. Thanks for the help!

Hi, we have tickets for Lapland unfortunalty my mum is seriously ill and can’t make it, I noticed online it does say not to resell however my sister in law is going to take her ticket and come with us how strict will they be with this? Will that be ok.

I have 2 x adult and 2 x children tickets for Thursday 21st November 5.30pm plus a one night stay for that night at the Stirrups hotel in a family room. We can still go but my children are showing signs of not wanting to even see Father Christmas, so I’m wondering what on earth I was thinking in booking all this. Maybe I should sell - but as many have said, the ticket names are non transferable. However some are now saying on here that Lapland uk will change the names if you can sell them privately. Is that actually true?
