What have you got on your present lists so far?

For my mum, particular skincare she enjoys but finds rather expensive. Also recreating a photo I found from childhood with the wider family and framing it recreation side by side with original.

I had a great idea for my dad and promptly forgot it. Have 8 months to remember it though.

For a close friend, a Tim Burton-movie themed stocking. With some giant bubbles because she loved mine. Ooh and some Lush bath products or Matey so she has lots of types of bubbles. Okay a Burton & bubbles themed stocking.

Today I bought a bottle of Craganmore malt whiskey for a brother. I have also wrapped it!

Today I have bought my sister in law a magnetic shopping list to stick on the fridge.
She did want one! (I will get her something 'nice' as well)

Recently went on a family holiday to Crete with all my kids and their partners. While there I bought a few small, light bits which I brought back, and each couple will get one as a smaller Christmas gift to remind them of the lovely time we had. Am also going to go through my phone and print out pictures of them on holiday and get them printed and framed, so they can all have at least one picture of the holiday.

I only really know what I'm getting my nephew - a particular brand of colouring pens he likes which are quite pricey so he'll like getting them as a gift.

Just Dance on Switch for DC. A couple of other ideas for them, nothing major yet though. They are 8 and 6 and changing more slowly now so it's harder to find things they don't have!

Might get my parents a pair of lined Crocs each.

PiL we normally get them a cinema voucher.

DS (will be 25 in December) likes money not things.
DD (22) likes things and will give me A List or we’ll go shopping and I can see what she chooses.

They both get a Dec 1st Box - not “more tat” as people like to label them , but pyjamas,loungewear,socks and underwear, toiletries.

So far I have DD pyjamas (Chelsea peers). Nails Inc polish and basecoat +topcoat and …..the most beautiful diamond earrings.
Earrings are a main present , she knows about them and has seen them , she’s impressed.
Also got some £1 coin holders from the other gift thread ideas so they can have one each with coins and I’ll have one plus one for the car.

We’re going to a Christmas market in December so I’ll get more ideas.

I haven't the clue this year.
My dad and sister will be in Japan for Christmas this year.
So I'll probably get them some money for out there.

Eldest dd is turning 17 just before hand we are getting her provisional and some lessons. So maybe some more lessons.

Dd10 has asked for an Apple Pencil for her iPad but her birthday again is just before hand so probably get it for then.

We have just moved house and our garden is at least 4 times bigger than our old garden. So I'm thinking of buying a swing set for ds7 and dd4.

Grandparents use to get a framed school photo but we home educate now so having to rethink that one now. Though we have just got a puppy. (New house, holiday and a puppy over a 4 week period. Crazy right) so maybe we will get some up to date family photos and gift that.

But I'm still undecided

So far:

6 children’s books and matching toys decided on a space/star theme this year.

1 jewellery making gift for a teen.

1 dog toy not too heavy but still durable.

2 branded T-shirts for men

Something for best friend, no idea

I’m behind this year, I’m overseas and that lot needs shipping by surface post end Sept so I need to get thinking hat on.

When those have been dispatched I’ll start on immediate family and local friends and the festive consumables ordered online and sent direct.
