Adult stockings - what went well?

I struggled to buy for my dad this year so had thought about putting together a stocking for him, for next Christmas.

I'd love to know what stocking treats went down well with the adults in your lives (not necessarily male - there may be ideas for the girls in there too!)?

I did a stocking of things for my mum this year as there wasn't a "thing" she wanted. Lots of the things we're specific to hobbies for her and DH or the usual toothbrush/sweets/an orange, but the surprise things that might apply are:

For DH, a fact tape measure (it has various things along the length, like "size of an oscar statue), seed bombs for the garden, car cleaning gel

For DM, a "wonkey", it's a little wedge shaped like a key for when you're at a cafe and the table is wonky, you can put it under a leg

Credit card multi tool was appreciated.
Chocolate

Yes, did one for the grandparents. good chocs and nougat, Jo Malone soap and hand cream, mini book on birds, a silver cheese slice, a miniature damson gin, Fortnums diary etc.Went down a treat.

I might do a stocking next year for the man in my life.

extras I got that were liked

• lindt chocolates (taken out of the box)

From various stockings the gifts that seemed to go down well were:

Banana travel case
200 piece Christmas puzzle
Fingerless gloves
Small photo book with family photos
Fortnum and Mason marmalade

I was given a stocking with a book, decent hot chocolate, small bottle of Prosecco, bookmark, marshmallows and a few bars of nice chocolate in. I liked that there was a theme to it, the instructions were to sit and enjoy the book with the food/drinks.
