God knows here but far too many!!

OP posts:

Most of my excess calories came from alcohol!
Had my usual porridge with blueberries for breakfast. Smoked salmon with dill and lemon creme fraiche starter. Beef Wellington with sprouts, carrots, broccoli, roast parsnips and potatoes, pigs in blankets for lunch. Then did a 3 mile walk before pudding - tiramisu. Then the cheese board came out later but I only had a few slithers and no crackers. But all that was washed down with champagne, white wine, red wine and dessert wine.
Been for a 5.5 mile walk this morning and about to have salad and leftover meats for lunch. Only liquid consumed so far today is coffee.

Infinity and beyond.

ODFOx · 26/12/2023 12:34

All the calories.
No regrets.

kitsuneghost · 26/12/2023 13:45

Over 3000
1250 breakfast
950 dinner
1000 Pudding and 6 roses later on

Didn't even sit eating chocolate crisps all day either (except the 6 roses later in the night)

Shocking how it adds up

toddlermam · 26/12/2023 14:09

2150 roughly. I'm on a weight loss journey so still trying to stick to it even over the Christmas period. It's been rough but glad I didn't go too overboard yesterday!

KohlaParasaurus · 26/12/2023 14:21

Slightly more than usual, I expect. More roast potatoes and more Christmas pudding partly offset by less bread and less chocolate, but I still ended up feeling overfull.

SoggyDoggyWalks · 26/12/2023 14:21

Less than usual I expect. Have a nasty cough/flu like virus. So had a small portion of Christmas dinner, which I’d prepped on Christmas Eve before I felt really ill. No chocolates, snacks or alcohol at all, just the thought made me nauseous.

Had a quiet, but nice, day with DD who is also a bit poorly but at the end of it. Fell asleep trying to watch TV after she went to bed so just went to bed myself. She’s at her dads till tomorrow evening so I’m enjoying having nothing to do and no one to provide food for.

Pass. Not many

Had 2 crumpets with butter and jam
A mince pie and a latte with my dad
A protein shake
Few mouthfuls of some chicken I was cooking for the freezer
Pizza (which was 800 cals)

Then did a spin class

That's about 1800
Not bad for Xmas day.

TinselTitts · 26/12/2023 15:41

I couldn't begin to guess on any day really.

I don't think I really ate more yesterday, just differently.

Sleeplessinseattle234 · 26/12/2023 15:49

I know exactly. And it was 1356. But I’m dieting and have medical problems. So eating a ton of food wasn’t on the cards. Did have a nice roll and chips for my Xmas dinner which I don’t normally do. Next year I’m hoping to have and enjoy a proper Xmas dinner. Oh with a dessert for after.

whitebeads · 26/12/2023 15:50

I started with maltesers for breakfast and it went downhill from there really.

Bbq1 · 26/12/2023 15:57

Don't know and don't care. Ate a bacon sandwich for breakfast. We don't overdo dinner but delicious beef roast followed by Gateaux. Few, crisps, nuts, sweets through the evening and a cheese sandwich. So really not that much but it wouldn't even occur to me to think about calories especially over Christmas.

rainpleasestop · 26/12/2023 16:04

Approx 1400 but I was at work so didn't eat anything than the norm really... today, however!!!! Lots more by end of the day I would think Grin

MajesticWhine · 26/12/2023 16:12

Too many - no breakfast, but quite a few hot nibbles. About 6 glasses of fizz and other wine. Salmon roulade starter then full turkey lunch then raspberry roulade. Cheese and crackers in the evening. Probably 2500??

Pifful · 26/12/2023 16:18

I have no idea how many calories in anything.
I think eating a cooked meal at lunchtime feels odd, makes me feel very full. I ate more than usual because I had pudding which I seldom do. I also had a turkey sandwich later on which I wouldn't normally do.
I didn't have wine or chocolate but I had a slab of fruitcake. So altogether not much more than a normal day.

FrangipaniBlue · 26/12/2023 17:37

All calories are null and void on December 25th

ChocoChocoLatte · 26/12/2023 19:34

None. Was so ill, according to the scales, I've lost 7lbs.......

HuntingoftheSnark · 26/12/2023 20:19

I honestly wouldn't know, but a lot. I still felt pretty full this morning so today's probably balanced it out. No alcohol though.

Olika · 26/12/2023 20:53

Far too many but don't care. We have finished all Xmas food so it's back to normal food from tomorrow.

WolvesDiscoandBoogaloo · 26/12/2023 21:02

I don't ever think about calories. As long as I fit in my clothes, that's all I care about!

I had a few biscuits, a paella with a large dollop of butter and mayonnaise, fair amount of sugary soft drinks, chicken soup with extra butter with buttered toast, and a few big hunks of cheese. No alcohol. Maybe that's over 2000? I'm clueless though.

I've been ill for a lot of December and I've lost half a stone. So this was a good innings for me. There's been a few days recently I've only managed half a packet of crisps all day and I was dreading that being the case on Christmas Day.

Same here, been ill with Covid and eaten nothing for days but we’ve postponed Christmas till the weekend so hopefully I’ll be up to eating 10,000 calories on Saturday to make up for it. Hope you’re better soon.

Needhelpsupport · 27/12/2023 11:34

Absolutely no idea and genuinely don’t care !

WhatHaveIFound · 27/12/2023 11:36

Probably no more than usual but it was all consumed in one meal as I don't eat breakfast and I didn't need another meal after our mid afternoon Christmas lunch.
