What weird concoctions are you having for breakfast today?

I just had a piece of toast and butter (the usual) with turkey and stuffing on top and potato salad and lettuce on the side. May as well finish off the last two profiteroles as well!

I had mince pies with Guernsey cream for breakfast.

Blinis, cream cheese and smoked salmon, plus a couple of choc orange wedges dunked in my coffee

to be fair this was breakfast & lunch and I am stuffed. I can’t imagine being ready for dinner later….

Pigs in blankets, ham, eggs and bubble & squeak, followed by trifle. Brunch rather than breakfast. Was bloody lovely.

I have another roast dinner tonight at my Mum’s. I unintentionally lost 5lbs in the fortnight before Christmas as I was running around so much. I think I have put that back on in the last 48 hours .

Pizza dough is rising in the breadmaker , our Tradition on Boxing Day is home made pizza . I took some pizza sauce out to defrost ( I make a batch and freeze in small tubs ) .
Made some Domino Rip-Off Stylee Garlic&Herb Dip for DS

Debating now if to cook some Aunt Bessie roasties too .

Fried egg and ham roll with a cheese slice in it (I forgot about the leftover pigs in blankets which should have gone in too), followed by tiramisu trifle, a glass of orange juice and coffee.

Am about to go back in for the last of the pork pie and stollen with some mulled wine since I'm trying to use up all the opened stuff, and will have turkey with bubble and squeak later 🥳

A huge amount of cheese, doves farm digestives, and a small red wine 😍

Game pie at noon. After clearing up office bagging up Xmas paper, folding cardboard, putting crockery, cutlery, glassware away I was peckish 😂

Lunch was cold porchetta, chopped celery, tomatoes and ryvita with mayonnaise followed by grapes, satsuma and Bendicks mints. That’ll do me for today!

Coffee and trifle, then seconds of trifle. Perfect breakfast.

I had leftover trifle for breakfast, weird any other time but anything goes at Christmas.

I had Pigs in blankets in a roll with tomato ketchup. I have just eaten cold leftover cauliflower cheese when I came in from a beach walk. There are no rules at Christmas

Toast and salami and a Terrys Chocolate Orange but mint flavoured.

I had coffee with a shot of Bailey's first thing to take the dog out. It's snowing where we are so I needed the warmth 😄

Came back for croissants with Philly and smoked salmon.

Today’s was a toasted roll, smoked salmon and a fried egg. It was lovely

I finished the trifle for breakfast this morning .

I’m very sad that the trifle-for-breakfast days are over for another year.

I had four mini Cadbury's hazelnut chocolates for breakfast. I would have had more but DS got there first.

We have had icecream with hot fudge sauce for the past 3 days. Add a banana, a wafer and the odd nut and it's almost all the food groups.
