M&S Christmas Eve

Has anyone had experience of M&S in store on Christmas Eve? Considering sending DH on a mission for yellow sticker items. Do you think Christmas food is likely to be discounted then?

You have to go towards the end of the day - DH often does it amd one year they were selling off the pre-ordered Chrismas stuff fir like 50p and £1 (presumably people hadn't collected it or something). We ended up with a giant cheese soufflé thing for 8 people and there were just 2 of us!

Yes and waitrose is a good one.

We did it once. There wasn't as much reduced as we expected. I think there are more preservatives added so less goes off.

When my sons worked at Waitrose on Christmas Eve they were followed round by a mob demanding that things be reduced even more it showed them an ugly side of humanity sadly.
