Help me find some Christmas gift wrap

I am looking for some gift wrap that meets the following criteria:
Thick
Matt
Luxury
Not plain
Have some sort of scene or lovely animals on it
Suitable for adults and older teens (doesn't need to appeal to children at all)

Have you used something that fits the bill this year?
Extra points for photos of your wrapped presents!

Tk maxx has some really nice paper which is usually good quality. Not the first place you’d think of looking, but they usually have some nice paper.

Sorry no help but would avoid Sainsbury’s this year, a real decline in quality. Craft style too thick to use well and patterned so thin it’s almost see through 🙄.

onlineshop.oxfam.org.uk/

The green hares Christmas wrap from Oxfam. Their recycled paper is reasonably thick too (compared to supermarket rolls).

I bought some from Pancreatic Cancer UK, similar to this https://shop.pancreaticcancer.org.uk/products/fluffy-robin-and-berries-wrapping-paper-sticker-tags

It comes folded, and it's very thick paper, really lovely. I'll buy more next year (my Mum died of pancreatic cancer, so I like to support this charity. Evil illness 🙁)

Sorry to hear about your mum x

I came on to say this. Meets all your criteria, plus it has squares on the back!

TK Maxx/ Home Sense here too. Lovely patterns, thick nice quality paper.

I swear by Costco double sided wrapping paper - nice and thick, two different patterns on either side usually one that’s overtly Christmas and one that’s a bit more subtle so you can chose to suit your audience.

How creative are you? How about some good brown paper and some nice stamps from Skull and Cross Buns?

The co-op had some lovely paper this year. Entirely recyclable, really thick matt paper. This was my favourite design

Martha Stewart wrapping paper at TKMaxx fits your description

Runoutofinkagain · 17/12/2023 22:26

Thanks for all of the great ideas, I love the Oxfam ones made in Nepal and also going to take a trip to TK Maxx.
I will remove all sellotape prior to recycling ♻️

Weirdly, the Primark brown paper range fits this bill well

lavagal · 17/12/2023 22:29

PickAChew · 17/12/2023 22:30

The ‘Magic Pudding’ of wrapping paper - never runs out. (well, obviouslu
y it does, but if you have some, you know what I mean).

It is, I buy one with a not obviously Christmas side and use it for presents all year round. I’ve just finished last years.
