Cruelty free make up set

I don't wear makeup. I have absolutely no idea about makeup! DD (12) has asked for make up kit for Xmas. I know that we want something that isn't tested on animals and that won't make her mild eczema worse. Do I need to spend a fortune in boots? Any brands? Help!

I've got sensitive skin and eczema and find the body shop make up pretty good. Not a huge range but nice basics.

Lush are cruelty free and do some nice things that are eco packaged - they have some nice shimmer eye sticks and glow powders etc.

Barry M are cruelty free and vegan and do some lovely make up bundle bags. I buy them for my nieces (and sometimes for myself tbf!)

You don’t need to spend a lot on a makeup kit! Look for cruelty-free, eczema-friendly brands like Burt’s Bees, bareMinerals, Tarte, or e.l.f.. These are gentle, affordable, and available at Boots, offering safe options for sensitive skin without breaking the bank.

It’s also about what the ingredients are. You need somethig as clean as possible without toxic chemicals. I have just found a brand called Inika.
