DPs and DH are asking what I want for xmas and I don't have a clue. I don't want nothing at all but I can't really think of anything. So help me think of something I might like that I can suggest? Nothing big, maybe £50 max for DH.

I don't drink, cook, bake, do keep fit, garden, do anything crafty or musical.
I had a flower subscription last year and tbh it wasn't great and too expensive.
I never seem to have time to read or eat out or do spa days.
I have a velvitiser already and too many blankets, oodies, heated stuff already.
I always get chocolates from somone so dont need any more.
Got lots of perfume, makeup and smelly stuff already.
Not really into bags, jewellery, shoes or clothes other than the essentials.
I do like gadgets but they are expensive. I have ipad, iphone, roomba thingie, kindle, heated dryer, velvisiser, air fryer, alexa, smart tv. So generally anything that helps me to be organised, do house things quicker/easier, do work better is usually a winner. (but I don't do paper diaries or organiser stuff).

Help me with suggestions to pass on before its too late.

Could this be an opportunity to try a new hobby?

A label maker? There are some really good compact ones with inkless printing. I've got one for DD and I expect we'll all be categorised by boxing day!

I just treated myself to a laminator and it's my new favourite thing. I'm laminating everything. Just about to start on the take away menus now. Smile

An upgrade of something -
towels
bedding
a saucepan/nice salad bowl/something else kitchen-y, if that appeals (it does to me!)
PJs
cashmere beanie
new suitcase or travel bag or travel wallet

a salt lamp
a huge house plant

Accessories for the tech you already have? iPad cover/keyboard/wallet? (Ditto Kindle) Fancy headphones/earbuds?
I think you can now buy kindle books as gifts, you could set up a wish list?

we have a label maker, I got new boots and coat recently, I have gloves/hat/scarf for xmas. I've lost interest in getting my nails done (I WFH so I think "no one's going to see them"), what's a salt lamp?

How about you get them to give you the gift of Not Having To Think Of Your Own Christmas Presents On Top Of Everything Else You Have To Do? Or am I projecting? :)

Some thing for the Alexa smart bulbs, plugs etc? Audible/music subcription?

Leeds2 · 17/12/2023 18:18

Soup maker.
One of those things you plug in, they heat up, you put them on the table and they keep the food dishes warm whilst you are eating (can’t think what they are called but I got mine from Lakeland!).
Deep fat fryer.
A date for Afternoon Tea, or theatre tickets.
Wine/gin/beer/cocktail making kit.
Breadmaker.
