Box of Chocolates

I've been tasked to buy a large box of chocolates (50 ish chocolates or more) with a max budget of £50.

I need to be able to get them delivered or pick them up from a shop by the end of next week. I'm passing by a large town this weekend so can probably drop in on any supermarket but if a small artisan is recommended I'll have to arrange delivery so had better be getting on with it pronto.

What would Mumsnetters recommend?

I'd recommend Hotel Chocolat - they have lots of nice selections in decent gift boxes/packs. John Lewis have a HC stand in their seasonal section - along with other brands too (i.e. Montezuma, Booja-Booja).

If you're passing by a large town, hopefully you'll find a John Lewis and/or Hotel Chocolat - if not M&S have fab selections too.

Audrey's. They supply Fortnums.

The chocolate gift co. Do a lovely gift set for 50 odd. Quirky and a bit special

these are amazing https://charlotte-flower-chocolates.mybigcommerce.com/

i had to taste chocolate for a shop (!) and there is a massive difference in quality to big producers. Also a lovely story.
charlotte really does do it for love, and wanders about the highlands collecting flavours.
iain is a bit more posh/ classic both good

M+S or Hotel Chocolat

Its the in thing on here to be sniffy about these brands but they're really good for chocs

This Audrey's that people keep suggesting dont have a very high cocoa content from what I can see

Agree M&S or Hotel Chocolate for that budget vs number of chocolates required.

The artisan chocolates pp have posted look lovely but you won't get the quantity you need for that budget.

Thanks everyone.

I think I'm going to settle on M and S given the constraints
