£230 and climbing with 3 and a bit days to go for a jogging suit. I thought we were crazy paying £60 for the £45 singing Elsa doll a (fair) few years ago. I know it’s common at this time of year and I’m glad to be on the other side of not panic buying at +++%.

Is anyone sitting smugly with their 40% reduced hoodies?

What other trends in recent times have you gotten ahead on?

It was Elsa above for us and a very sought after squishmallow for rrp, but my parents just had a nose for this and managed to get not 2 but 3 furbies when they came out, an a la carte kitchen and a buzz lightyear! (Not all in the same year obviously 😂)

I have no idea what that is, I guess my kids might be too young for it as they’re primary age. My only toe dip in the world of sold out toys was getting a Nintendo switch at the start of the pandemic, when the stock checker website really saved my bacon. I still couldn’t bear to pay over the odds for one - my frugal gene is stronger than my fashion one!

@ApoodlecalledPenny I get you with that frugal gene, unfortunately my twitching gene sometimes overrides it 😆.

I'm wondering will people actually pay this though?!! Could be false bids if its that high which will be annoying for the seller.

The one I had seen has sold for a little over £280 so I guess people are buying them. There’s just the hoodies selling for £150+.
