need some WFH christmas gift ideas for a female relative who, obviously, WFH!

She has an oodie, heated blanket, cup heater, foot rest, ring light, velvetiser, alexa, iphone, ipad, and gets a flower subscription already to brighten up her office. She loves her job and loves gadgets so I'm thinking of something gadgety for her office? Max budget £30. She doesn't drink alcohol or coffee. no to candles due to a bad incident once.

She loves her job and her DH jokes shes never away from her desk, hence the idea of getting something for her office.

TIA

Massage cushion for her chair
A little mini vacuum to hoover crumbs off her keyboard
A nice potted plant
Stationary - pens, highlighters, jotters etc
I’ve seen a little mini memo board that fits onto your computer monitor, you can write on it and it holds your phone - I saw it in men kind
A little white noise machine
A nice lamp

just a few ideas off the top of my head :)

Does she handwrite? Then pens and note pad.

If she wears reading glasses, a nice case.

Charger station for her phone?

Surely you must know something else about her other than she works from home? She must have some personality, hobbies, interests beyond that.

I'd be unimpressed if my family bought me some random office tat given that I spend a lot of time at work, it's as bad as bath stuff for saying, "I don't know you but felt compelled to bring more unrecyclable rubbish you don't want into the world and give it to you to fill your bin with". I've got everything I need for working, it's what people do to make themselves comfortable!

Does she have a nice big insulated coffee cup with lid? I have one so I can sit a coffee on my desk and it doesnt risk spilling everywhere. I got a nice one from Sho who do nice patterns and designs. I also love my soupmaker but that cost more than £30

Another thought, what about some anti-blue light glasses?

I spend a lot of time in front of my computer for my job, and it can play havoc with my eyes. I keep getting these glasses recommended to me but yet to try them myself.

LED note board or a projection clock

She doesn't drink coffee and wears glasses already so I don't think the anti glare glasses would help. Will look at an LED noticeboard

Why does the gift have to be related to work?

Dontsparethehorses · 09/12/2023 18:33

I love my electric defuser - you put a couple drops of oil in and makes room smell amazing all day - mine was from Oliver bonas but habitat have one on offer!

Travellingraspberry · 09/12/2023 18:57

What about something like one of those home weather stations with the sensor outside and digital display inside?

she has an electric defuser I think, and didn't like it, assuming that's what it is, smelly oil thing that you plug in?

Her work is also her hobby and she does keep saying she'd like a 'cooler' office and we know she likes gadgets. Her office is quite messy and space is limited.

Not sure about the weather gift idea.

What about a desk mat for under her keyboard and mouse? I'm looking for one that has lids of keyboard shortcuts on it like this

Deal: JIALONG Keyboard Excel Shortcuts Mouse Mat Large XXL (900x400mm) Thick Extended Mouse Pad Desk Pad Soft Computer Keyboard Mice Mat for Macbook, PC, Laptop, Office amzn.eu/d/jaenBje

Would she like some good quality led candles. I love the ones you can get now with the 6hr timer that just turn on and off by themselves.

DarkForces · 10/12/2023 09:30

If her study is already cluttered would she want more stuff? Maybe a nice shelf stack/in tray to help store things?
