What to get for cleaner and childminder?

Childminder: had her for over a year, we are overall happy. She always gets a gift for cmas and birthday for DC. Last year we got her a bottle of something and a voucher (one of the ones you can use everywhere) and she didn’t seem to like it that much. I think I was generous (voucher was £100). Other suggestions for this year?

Cleaner: we had her for about 9 months, she charges £48 twice a month and works in a team with one or two others. Don’t know her well, doesn’t speak much English. Chocolates and cash? No idea if she drinks. She could split cash easily with her colleagues. How much? I thought maybe £50 so one clean?

I pay our cleaner £45 fortnightly so gave her £50 extra for Christmas.

We pay the cleaner £60 (London) so will give her the same as a Christmas bonus. I think that sounds very generous for your childminder.

I thought so too but she didn’t seem happy. It was a voucher that you can use jn a ton of shops and restaurants. No idea what she likes otherwise, we don’t chat much apart from about DC. She is in her 50ies.
