Hi
This year for Christmas and Boxing Day it will just be me and my dc (18 and 15). This is the first year ever that has happened while we have been at home (last year we were on holiday), I invited my parents but apparently not quick enough so they have booked to go to Spain as in their words "We were expecting to be invited here but we weren't so we didn't want to be all alone" (that's a whole other thread!!)
I don't want the day to feel like a normal Sunday when it's always just the 3 of us so am thinking we will get up, have stockings, visit my best friend, come home and have presents, then maybe a game before our meal in the evening and a film.
Basically I don't want them on their phones ignoring me all day! They will happily watch a film and play a game so won't be doing it under duress with an attitude!
Does anyone else who will be spending the day with 2 teenagers on their own have any ideas or willing to share what they do?
