Ideas for students in halls

Mine is a 19 year old boy/man but generic would work too. He's in a small room with a single bed and not that much space for stuff. Shared kitchen (1 shelf, 1 fridge drawer kind of set-up) and bathroom so I guess nothing too valuable for those shared rooms.
I have vouchers (subway, costa and greggs on campus)
Any ideas?

Cinema vouchers? A nice backpack, maybe one that meets the small carry-on criteria so it's handy for travel.

Anything he needs to make his course a bit easier, IT type stuff, headphones, any gaming stuff he likes.
basics but upgraded like nice socks toiletries etc. Snacks he can keep in his room like chocolate etc.
vouchers for clothes, or clothes if you know what he likes.
