Inspired by another thread about non themed Christmas trees. Ours has all the baubles each child has selected every year. Oldest child is about to turn 18 and there are three younger ones, 17, 11 and 9, so the 'specials' are nearly all there is space for on our tree now (alongside bits from my own childhood and souvenirs picked up along the way). It may not be tasteful but I love it and I get very nostalgic every year. We had a big house fire last year and I thought them all lost, but like a Christmas miracle they showed up in the stuff the insurance people managed to salvage. I sobbed when I found them as they were the only material things I had been desperately sad about losing!

Here are mine-this years random pick from dd2-an incredibly angry looking bird-he clearly doesn't like Christmas much-and my very favourite which I was given when expecting dd1 (she was due on Christmas Eve 2005) that I always put on first.
