The Potential Horror of The Face Painting Kit

My DD (7) has written to Father Christmas to ask for a face painting kit. In essence - a lovely idea. In reality - probably a bit hard to use, unsatisfying and a bit messy.

Has anyone got any ideas about what I could give that would be a good alternative please? I’d be interested to know if you’ve seen a kit that has effective stencils perhaps; or if you know of a children’s instructional book that would help her feel she’s really ‘done it’ and created her face painting stall - that’s her aim!
Father Christmas and I thank you in advance!

No suggestions sorry but I think I'd be looking for ones that look like crayons/pens they are probably easier to control and design with than the round paints

Snazaroo do a lovely face painting kit that comes with step by step instructions its about £15. You could add some face jewels too, Primark normally sells them.
