Toiletries - something a bit special

Not a very exciting present request, but my elderly mum is having major surgery in the New Year, and has asked for some travel sized toiletries to take in with her. I'd like to make it a bit special and give her a bit of luxury, so I thought I'd make up a little hamper of stuff rather than buy a generic gift set. What can I include to make it a bit special for her? All ideas gratefully received 😊

Not Another Bunch of Flowers is good for buying or just inspiration.

Good hand cream and lip salve a must. Maybe something that smells nice - pillow spray? Neals Yard does a nice one, or the This Works sleep range is good.

Body wash - pick a brand that would say luxury to her. For my mum it would be Sanctuary stuff.

A comfy eye mask and ear plugs.

Some kind of sweets - I’ve liked extra strong mints in hospital. Hospital for me is a weird mix of sensory overload and sensory deprivation, familiar strong tastes were comforting (that probably sounds very weird!).

Comfy slipper socks, if she’ll be able to get them on and off. Possibly mules if not.

Mouthwash, some gentle cleansing wipes, dry shampoo.

I'd also get some cordial, sweets and a fleece blanket - the blankets we have on our ward aren't very tactile.
