Charity donation as gift?

My friend is hard to buy for. She doesn’t like stuff. She has ocd so finds clutter overwhelming. Things she owns have to have a purpose. I got her some bath bits from a local small business she likes for her birthday so can’t do that. She got me some cute socks that give profits to charity important to both of us for mine. This is the level of spending we do. Just a token to show we love each other and are thinking of each other at Christmas.

But I’m stuck this Christmas. Her dog recently passed and I was thinking a donation to a dog charity in his name might be nice?

What are peoples thoughts? Or any other ideas of non expensive, useful gifts that won’t cause clutter and just be a job for her to take to charity. Thank!

How non expensive? What sort of budget are you talking about? I don’t like the charity gifts tbh. It seems more about the giver than the person they want to buy a gift for imo. If you want to give to charity that’s fine but the person then gets nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️
Voucher for a manicure
Box of hand made chocs
Nice pen for her handbag

Sponsor a dog? Most major dog charities do this I think. Guide dogs defffo do
